Inspired by Dave Manty whose sign I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, I am trying to get huge signs, 4X8, from my Dad, (who is a printer), but has already been tapped out by me = (

We can definately get them at cost!!! but I don't yet know how much that will be per sign because he is at Dana Farber right now - PRAY, and he is going to look for large paper in stock when he gets back so that we don't have to wait and pay for special orders. One thing I know for sure is that the more we order, the cheaper it will be, so please tell me who wants in. (If I order 500 it will REALLY bring the price down). I'm totally pulling this out of my head when I tell you I'm not planning for it to go over $50.00 per sign, and will hope it to end up even way cheaper. I truly believe in these big signs drawing enourmous attention, especially at busy intersections.

Perhaps email me directly so we don't take up a lot of blog space.

The signs I've done to date are exact replicas of Scott's yard signs, (you may have seen me carrying a large one at the primary victory party- 3X6 I think it was), but I would like to alter them to read Vote at the top, Scott Brown the same as it is, and then January 19th where the text thing is. I also think a picture of him would be great, since the sign is so big and we don't loose space for the name BROWN, but I would like people's input. My direct email is devinekristi@yahoo.com

Love those poll results, but we can't let anyone feel comfortable enough to think that each and every vote doesn't matter on the 19th!

I don't doubt for a moment the importance of the phone bank work. I just know that without spending the several hours there making phone calls, I am 24/7 interacting with people, knocking on doors to put up signs (great excuse to promote the vote), and campaigning in everything I do. The oil company has just arrived to clean my furnace LOL. I have to go now to make sure they are on board to vote Brown JAN 19. I already spoke with their bosses regarding Brown when the appointment was made. Business owners, so, of course, we've got them, just have to be sure they know how important their getting to the polls is. Toodles, and have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! See you at the Victory Party, and talk to you many times before then = )

You just have to try the phne bank work. You talk to so many people who want him to win...It's inspiring. I have never been this active in this sort of campaign, although I have some experience on Beacon Hill. I'm addicted....

PS I have only seen ONE Martha Coakley sign in my area to date, but I hear she has huge ones in Lowell. Of course. There are so many people there that don't pay taxes, we need the Dems that do - - - and I hear there are at least a few. But speaking of smiles, I drove miles today with no signs in sight. In an over a 13 mile stretch, I came across the one sign for Senator. It was for Brown.

I also smiled when I read the poll results, but I smiled even more when I called a friend who said he didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning. (Yes, I said that to people, but ONLY in conjunction with saying WITHOUT YOUR VOTE.) My friend was saying it because he believed it. Today, when I told him the polls, he said, I think he really is going to win. "I was with four guys today, and they were all voting for him, and I'm hearing that from a lot of people." Mind you, these aren't people campaiging - - - THESE ARE JUST YOUR AVERAGE, EVERYDAY PEOPLE OUT THERE!!!!!!!
Victory Jan 19th = )

Actually Chip, I had big signs made up and put up on Primary day. A friend and I also held humungus signs at the polls that day, next to some very nice people holding very little signs. I took a picture of the one on my property but like I know how to get it out of my camera yet? I have distributed others including one I'm proud of because its in a GREAT location at a mall right off a Rte 95 ramp, on commercial property that I am so thrilled it's allowed to be at. I brought some to the victory party, and I know one went to the Cape, but can you imagine that one of that size could walk off? I wouldn't care so much if I was just assured it was in a premium location. Can't imagine someone would just take it from the hotel, but I sure hope it is because they had such a great use for it.

Anyway, NONE are as good as Dave's but I'm wondering if my efforts can count towards your tripple dare? Barney supports these efforts as well = )

I applaud every effort being done and I'd love to see the "after" pictures of your signs when they're up!! I drive by Dave's every morning and every evening on the way home from work and smile!!! It reminds me daily that Santa Claus is Republican. (Were he a Democrat, he'd have the government hire a union guy to deliver presents...)

Seriously though, let's not forget the focus of Scott's campaign which is personal contact. The phone banks are still open for volunteers every day from 9 AM to 9 PM. Head to your closest headquarters and make a few calls. Like myself, you'll get addicted to how positively the message is received!!!
