Who and What is Next?
Hello Everyone,
The final stretch is here! All hands on deck! We need to translate the energy that I saw at the rally in Worcester today into actual votes. Help out with the Voter Bomb!
I don't want to get ahead of ourselves but I wanted to know if anyone has any ideas how we can keep this energy going and turn what was a small "foregone conclusion" special election into a real force for change. We here in Massatucky have been the recipients of massive support from everyday folks like ourselves from around this great nation. I'm thinking that we could create a "Brown Brigade" like forum where we can be kept abreast of what's happening in the races in other states.
The one thing that I've learned from this particular race is that what happens here effects the entire nation! We may think that our own small congressional or senatorial election does not matter in the big scheme of things but an avalanche can be started by the smallest of disturbances. The bottom line is that every election counts and each one has the potential to influence a nation. We can no longer afford to be parochial in our thinking. That's how we ended up where we currently are.
At the rally today, folks from all across the country had the opportunity to express why they were supporting Scott Brown. Some had driven many hours just to be there. It was both extremely moving and electrifying! We cannot stop with the election of Scott! Let's keep this energy going and continue to support one another across state lines because in the end we are all AMERICANS.
We also need to keep reminding the members of both political parties that they work for us! We threw out one king a long time ago. We didn't sign on for a ruling class to take his place.
