Ties that Bind???
Liz Warren was recently inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Boy was I curious as to why, since we are the reddest state in the union (as proclaimed by NPR - no counties at all voting for Obama in 2008).
I contacted them and still have the emails. They told me that someone must sponsor a potential inductee and that an anonymous board selects the new members. I asked who would sponsor Ms Warren, since she had basically abandoned Oklahoma. Answer: T. Boone Pickens!!!
Is she tied to the evil oil and gas industry; is Boone the opportunist he has always been; is there or will there be a quid pro quo?
