STOP HAVING MILITARY ENLISTED PAY FOR NECESSARY SUPPLIES OUT OF THEIR PAYCHECKS

Dear Senator Brown :

I flew home from Florida to vote for you along with three of my four adult children. My youngest son is on active duty in the Navy, a photojournalist, and my middle son is a Seabee. I would like you to find out why my son, who is out to sea on a ship, has to pay for toothpaste, etc. or a new uniform out of his measly paycheck, if it is mandatory that he have these items. Ballplayers get millions plus uniforms and extras and my sons are volunteer enlisted men (19 and 22) who defend the very freedom that allows these ballplayers and all of us to do what we do everyday, and they have to have their paychecks reduced for these items? As a member of the military, I am sure you know what I mean. I would appreciate a bill sponsored by you to stop this. If other government employees get clothing allowances shouldn't they at least get that? Thank you for your anticipated help in this matter.

For your information, Blackwater is a company that sends mercenaries. They kill anyone and everyone. It's not free enterprise; its anarchy. The ones that get wealthy are the companies like Blackwater. Dah!!!

I think now that Scott is on the way to close down Medicare and Social Security and all that marxist nonsense he can take a hard look at the Cheney revolution in privatising warfighting. There's a case to be made for getting that off of the taxpayer's backs, too. Private industry can fund expeditionary and reactive forces FOR profit and secure the resources they need to succeed. Pay will be better and operations, of course, will be more efficient. Why create an entitled class to bayonet ragheads when all you need is a contractor to hire enough warriors to bayonet ragheads on a temporary, efficient, industry sponsored contract. Free enterprise is the way.
