Republican Rumble Rides for Seniors
Hi Everyone,
We are working on an idea, and need some feedback from you here on the blog site. We are thinking of offering "Republican Rumble Rides" to seniors across the state which feature hot chocolate and great old music on the way to the polls. These would be rides from volunteers in their own vehicles from home to poll and back. We would try to post flyers in every senior center in the state. We have the flyer already.
We would give drivers their music CD's, and maybe the money for a "Box O' Joe" hot chocolate kit from Dunkin Donuts.
How many of you would be available to do this on the 19th? If you could email me the following, if interested:
1) your town
2) your hours of availability on the 19th.
Thanks! Just an idea in it's beginning stages, but could make a difference on the 19th. ( We need to check on any liability issues firstly, I'm thinking.) Our seniors have a lot to offer, and should get out to vote to protect their future. Let's help them to get there. Love this idea Deirdre! These are classy ways Republicans can make a difference. Do encourage drivers to have an assistant and schedule several trips so that each voter can be helped in and out of vehicles and thru possible snowy/icy conditions. Bring extra blankets too. Perhaps a store will donate some scarves in red, white, or blue.

I could help out with this in Rehoboth and Seekonk areas. I would not be able to do this at night, but from 8 am to 4 pm would be fine.

I would like the flyers to distribute and will be available for some trips in my area - West Newbury, but DON'T FORGET LOCAL CHURCH GROUPS.
