I have been a long time independent living in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts my whole life. Every time I voted for an independent candidate I knew my vote was meaningless on one level, but nonetheless, I continued to vote for third party candidates. It was my way of voicing my opinion and ironically, I am extremely impressed with Joe Kennedy this time around, but I am now happy to categorically state my intention of voting for Scott Brown next week.

Brown embodies much of what I believe we need in the Senate, but more importantly, sends messages to both our state Democratic party machine and Pelousy's crowd that they have crossed the line. It used to be that the national parties were barely indistinguishable, but no longer. This nation is divided - and the divisions are numerous. What is left of the middle will essentially chart our course the next few decades, and if we let the current administration continue its path toward total nationalization - accompanied by incredibly irresponsible spending - then the Obamas (and I include Michelle here) will realize their true wishes, reveal their true colors, and send us all to third world status.
I feel as if the middle or if you prefer independents will come out in droves for this election - and possibly give Brown their vote. I might even predict a comfortable margin after reading blogs from both the right and left for weeks now. Democrats are almost as angry as Republicans, and suffice to say the independents will overwhelmingly vote Brown.

You see, the Obamas are nothing more than apologists for the USA. This dissconnect is revealed daily if you pay attention to their actions and words. And until "guaranteed democratic states" like Massachusetts stand up and say, "no more", they will continue to spend until we have no other alternative but to give in to their world views (read: more taxes, less state rights). This is precisely why we need to act now, elect Scott Brown, just as NJ and Virginia did (governors race) a few months ago. We must stop this administration now. We must send money to Nevada to defeat Reid. We must be vigilent - stop for a moment and forget about all the troubles we are in......just vote next week, and hope the democrats don't stall the seating process of the winner, Scott Brown.

Once Brown wins, you will see the democrats used every immoral strategy in the book to stall his rightful place in the US Senate. In a way, his fight for common sense will really begin after he wins. I, for one, look forward to this fight.
I pray Scott Brown is up for the challenge ahead.
