Meeting Scott!

Last weekend I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work a Scott Brown event at Fenway Park!  Before the second game of the series against the Yankees, Scott and Gail arrived about an hour early to shake hands and talk with constituents.  The couple pulled up next to us in Scott's infamous green pickup truck, and I struggled to keep my jaw off the floor.  I had never met Scott before or seen him in person, so to say I was excited is the understatement of the year.  He got out of the driver's seat and came around the car to shake each and every one of our hands, and I was amazed at how down-to-earth and approachable he was.  He didn't have a driver, an entourage of people following him around, or bodyguards to make sure nothing happened.  Clad in Red Sox apparel, Scott and Gail simply walked around the park hand in hand like any loving couple.  It is moments like these that reinforce the fact that Scott evokes a sense of authenticity that Elizabeth Warren never will.
