Martha and the Unions - Members paid a fee to hold signs

I was one of the many Brigadiers at the pre-debate rally at UMass and when I got there, I was pretty overwhelmed at the trailer truck of Martha signs and hundreds of union members holding them. While speaking with one of the union guys holding the Coakley sign, he admitted that his union was paying him $50 to stand and hold the sign. I was blown away, I always thought that these guys were out in the cold like us, doing what we thought was the right thing to do, not that they were actually being paid a fee to do it.

The best part was when he admitted that although he was there because he needed the money, he was voting for Scott!!

We are making history here in Massachusetts once again, keep up the great work everyone. We are all working hard to make Scott our next US Senator because we need him to go to Washington and fight for us! Get ready for the vote heard around the world.

Second picture down. Does it look like someone's getting paid?

The Herald had a picture from the debate rally online today

You would have thought that the "paid help" would have been able to elbow out the "volunteer freedom fighters" from the Brigade.

Go Scott, Go!!

PS there was only ONE (1) Coakley sign up on that bridge in the distant picture below.
ALL others were there for SCOTT BROWN. Even the ones below the bridge in the parking lot say BROWN.

Martha comes to Newburyport 1-16-10

Stephen, add Newburyport to that list. Over 150 Brown supporters showed up for an unplanned rally where Martha was coming. WE outnumbered her crowd two to one. Today I pointed to a thug on TV and told my husband I think that was the guy harassing me and a 17 year old Brown supporter. He was standing right behind Coakley today. Amazing. Also, here's a pic of them after they have collected all the signs their hired help held. The reason you dont see Coakley's name is not because they do not want them seen, but rather they are so big they are made to collapse for easy transport. THIS TIME the van did not have TEAMSTERS emblazened on it as did the one at the debate.

HERE's our crowd:

They must have paid these guys again today to hear Obama's speech, I saw the same crew sitting right behind the podium. Too bad they can't get people that actually want to be there like those that attended Scott's well attended rallies in Quincy yesterday and Worcester today.

You guys: now that the video has gone viral, I worry about that guy. He might be retaliated against or even blackballed - you know what these people are like. We need to stand by any Brown supporters. I'm worried.

Folks, We have a great American, family man and candidate in Scott Brown. Scott is out meeting with the people of MA and listening to their issues and concerns. Martha was in DC last night raising money (probably for her negative adds to bring down our guy). Thanks for sharing this video Kristi. Go Scott Go!
