Brown Brigade Members,

Election Day is only two weeks away. Will you help us by writing a letter to the editor (LTE)? We need to make sure we spread Scott’s message that an across the board tax cut for families and businesses that will increase investment and lead to new job growth. We're the only state in this nation about to elect a U.S. senator. The choice we make will send a powerful message to the big-spenders in Washington, and just in time: They need to quit expanding our government and defending wasteful spending, and start expanding this economy and defending our jobs.

Scott Brown believes in limited government, and in the boundless power of the free market to create jobs and wealth for our people.

Scott Brown believes it is a betrayal of duty to leave the next generation with massive debts, and they deserve better than that from us.

Scott Brown believes that one-party power breeds corruption and arrogance, and it's time we open things up in the state of Massachusetts.

Scott Brown believes failure should be admitted in Washington, and not repeated. It's time to admit that while the nearly trillion-dollar stimulus had the best of intentions, it failed to create one new job. We shouldn’t make the mistake of passing yet another stimulus that adds to the debt and does nothing for American workers.

Here is a link to the Mass GOP site that conveniently list the editors and their email addresses for your local paper: http://www.massgop.com/index.php?id=157

Remember to get your LTE to your local paper no later than this Thursday, January 7th so it will be printed before Tuesday, January 19th.

Also we need your help on the phones. We need all our phones to crank from 9am – 9pm to ensure Victory on January 19th.

Thanks for all your support!

I sent mine and received a quick reply from the paper. Due to a new "merger/take over" by another owner they have cut the word count from 500 to 350 words. I had to cut my letter down far more then I was hoping to but was able to meet the word count and still make my point. So when you send your letter be sure to ask if it fits within the papers rules. Not that I do not trust the liberal media but fear they just may toss your letter if too large and "forget" to let you know until it is too late. Another avenue is other blogs. If you surf the blogs feel free to rebutt Scott's critics.

Here's what I sent to the Scituate Mariner...

Letter to the Editor,

As the only state about to elect a new U.S. Senator, Massachusetts is in a unique position to send a clear message to the big spenders in Washington that they need to stop expanding our government and defending wasteful spending and start expanding this economy and defending our jobs.

Scott Brown believes in limited government, and in the boundless power of the free market to create jobs and wealth for our people.

Scott Brown believes that it is a betrayal of duty to leave the next generation with massive debts, and they deserve better than that from us.

Scott Brown believes that one-party power breeds corruption and arrogance, and it's time we open things up in the state of Massachusetts.

Scott Brown believes that failure should be admitted in Washington, and not repeated. It's time to admit that while the nearly trillion-dollar stimulus had the best of intentions, it failed to create one new job. We shouldn't make the mistake of passing yet another stimulus that adds to the debt and does nothing for American workers.

The special election on January 19th is arguably the single most important election that we may ever face. We have the opportunity to stand up and send a clear message to Washington and the rest of the nation that enough is enough. The reckless spending of money we don't have with ever increasing debt levels is not only fiscally irresponsible and harmful to our economy, it is also detrimental to our national security and it is simply morally wrong to pass on a legacy of massive debt to our children and future generations.

A vote for Scott Brown on Tuesday January 19th has the power to resonate across this great land much like the first musket shot fired on the Lexington Green nearly 235 years ago. Let's stand together and support Scott Brown for U.S. Senate, we CAN make a difference.

Thank You,
Stephen Coulter

Do you have an Email template I can use to send the right message to the editor in my town?

Thanks
