Dear Senator Elect Brown: I first want to congratulate you on an excellently run campaign. You conducted yourself with grace and aplomb. I am not fooling anyone, I am an ardent Democrat and I have been so since age 21. I am now 61. At first I was demoralized but I am feeling a sense of hope because I sense a decency about you I do not often see in the political arena. You seem to be at least open to help us ALL achieve those things for the American people as a whole and not just for the small but wealthy corporate few.

I usually am correct on my first impressions. I know you know that many many independents who voted for you were and maybe still are Democrats. We all hope that the long tradition of helping those who need help and rehabilitating those who can be rehabilitated will not be lost with you but rather enhanced as finally we have, I think, in you, someone who will listen to everyone and not simply tow a party line.

I am not going to say I am switching my party affiliation all these years, but I AM saying I am willing to give you a chance because I see an essence in you that is good. I think you will live up to the aspirations of our former 47 year senator Teddy Kennedy who longed to see health care delivered to all. Beyond that I see a hope for the future too that I personally see rarely in many Republicans today. I stand with you and hope you will stand with me and others like me as you have been entrusted with one of the most important jobs for our country and our state. I will give you my full allegiance and hope the same will be returned. My good wishes for success to you and your family.

Best wishes,

Natalie Rosen

Well, I can see my hope in Senator Brown was short lived as he tries to set up his reelection by saying Rachel Maddow will be his opposition. Rachel just revealed the untruth of that. One wonders though why the good senator picked her as the threat supreme. In truth, Sir, she is BRILLIANT. Few can hold a candle to her intellect and that includes most definitely Senator Brown. Thankfully, she is not running. We need her on the airwaves to expose the Republican Party's infinite capacity for telling downright lies to put their toxic agenda across -- an agenda which nearly bankrupted our country because of greed gone wild, banks unregulated and killed its youth in wars based on utter lies.

As I have said at least a million times: America, the Republican party is NOT I repeat NOT about most of you. It is about the top 2% wealthiest of this nation. The fact that they should share a small amount more of health care is nothing but infinitely fair. Mr. Brown to say you are a man of the people while you say you will vote against reconciliation when it gets to the Senate on this beginning of health care which gives people hope, is a lie. So far you are everything I thought you would be ... a BIG mistake that the people of Massachusetts were duped into thinking YOU would do anything for them.

Alexander was right. Everyone knows that the job of government is to protect people and their enterprises from government attack, like taxation. Demrats admittedly want to enslave America with confiscatory taxation and won't stop at anything to do that - even handing over the country to a marxist islamofascist who worshipped a cult leader whose life was dedicated to destroying white America. Really, it's time the demrats just go quietly away, confess to their crimes and, if allowed to stay in the US, register as Republicans.

someone commented in an insulting way. I deleted it. This is why the tenor of the parties is so rancid. It should not matter what party one belongs to or doesn't we are all Americans and love our country. I do not want to see anything else impugning that!
