We are celebrating the holidays at a reception and concert in Boston on December 3rd. I invite you to come spend a Winter Weekend in Boston and join us that evening.

Following the success of our Fourth of July essay contest, our campaign has decided to do it again.

This time our essay topic is: How do you plan to give back during the Christmas Season?

Each qualifying essay will receive 1 complimentary ticket to the General Reception at our December 3 party.

The winning essay will receive two tickets to the Photo Reception with me at our Christmas Party, four general admission tickets, overnight accommodations at Boston's Park Plaza Hotel, a gift bag and a campaign sweatshirt.

There will also be 5 runners up and they will receive two tickets to the Christmas Party and complimentary campaign t-shirts.

I look forward to reading your essay. To qualify please contribute $100 here and write your essay as a blog post here on the Brown Brigade.

Please limit your essay to 250 words. Thank you again for your support and for giving back to your community.

I don't think you have to donate $100.00 to post an essay.

Dear Senator Brown:

We are proud and happy to contribute to your campaign through whatever means available. You are the first political canidate we contributed to ever in our 55 plus years. My wife and I are excited to see you again on the 3rd Dec. You have been so gracious to all your supporters in the past. We appreciate it. We hope it is a very successful event for you. We encourage everyone to come out and support you. We think it is very important for the folks out there to understand how important it is for your supporters to actually step up and give you money to help your re-election campaign. It will be very a tough fight to hold onto "The Peoples Seat". All the best Senator.

It's too bad that we have to donate $100.00 to post an essay. After all that's money I would rather give to charity during the holiday season, and not to a politician, even one as nice as you Scott.
