A Local who shocked the Political Establishment

I am excited to begin my internship at Senator Brown's campaign Headquarters in Boston. I first heard about Scott as he was my local State Senator before he was elected to the US  Senate.. It is nice to see that a local candidate can win even when against the odds. Massachusetts is often known as a liberal state where the winners of elections are supposedly known for weeks if not months in advance. Scott Brown shocked the political establishment by wining in January of 2010 and has since then provided an independent voice for Massachusetts. There are some who say that Scott cannot replicate his victory, but I believe he can and will.
