I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families. This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I voted for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work.

I was disappointed with the continuation of politics-as-usual in the drafting of this bill, as it was crafted behind closed doors, without transparency and accountability. I hope for improvements in that process going forward. All of us, Republicans and Democrats, have to work together to get our economy back on track. I hope my vote today is a strong step toward restoring bipartisanship in Washington.

You know what, Scott? Forget you. You're a hypocrite.

This is precisely why you shouldn't have voted for it.
It won't create jobs (Congress can't do that!) nor will it bring meaningful tax cuts.
I'm extremely disappointed in you and I sent you money to win your campaign, too, but not to go to Washington to be a Tax & Spend Liberal!

I knew it. Just when I thought we were getting some real change, you go and vote for this. I'm embarrassed to have given you money and time, and I hope you are defeated in a year and a half. Shame on you. Already corrupted.

Hey, it's only $15B, some of the other GOPs wanted $85B. I'll give you a pass this time Senator, I think most of us would rather see you give this little one to the Dems, than I much bigger one. Good strategy, give them this, so they can't say you ONLY SAY NO when you do VOTE NO ON OBAMA'S HEALTHCARE Bill. Or, convince them to use ALL the GOP ideas, and mostly none of their own. Debate the President if necessary at Obama's photo-op, HC summit trap. Don't give in, you can do it, if necessary, you MUST JUST SAY NO! Good luck! Go get'm!

You suck Brown. Keep spending you freak. Pathetic.

What we need is a hatchet, and start chopping some of the overlapping gov't beauracracy, not more spending. Can you do simple math you moron? Every dollar spent has to come from somewhere, but I guess now that you are in, you don't care. Pathetic pretty boy...should have known.

Last time I send money to assist a Republican in a liberal state.

I dont know what to think we saw you on T.V. with Harry Reid and then you voted to spend more money, What did Harry Reid give you for MA to vote for this bill, we thought you were going to make a difference.
I thought is was against the law to use Tarp Money and not pay down the debt, it would have been ok if the cut spending somewhere to pay for this.
Please forgive me for sending money and being excited about you being a gleam of hope to take America back.

I'm a retired businessman from Mass. now in Florida and a Brown contributor. I, too, feel betrayed. Cutting taxes and repealing regulations will put people back to work. No businessman struggling in today's economy will hire workers to get a tax credit. I thought Brown was a thoughtful conservative, not a closet liberal. We are in this mess because of this kind of illogical thinking and policies.

Far too often politicians say the bill is not perfect, and we'll work to do better next time. Stand up and be confident in your choice. If you had strong convictions, you wouldn't need the second paragraph.

President Obama said he would change Washington, provide transparency. By your own words here and your vote today you reinforced the very thing you were supposed to be against.

Ask any business owner how much it takes to grow a business enough to hire someone. My guess is that all of them will tell you it is a lot more than what they will get in a tax break from this bill.

Very disappointed with you and your vote today. Sorry I wasted precious time in my life watching your campaign and praying that you would win. I guess you will come up with great explanation when you sell us out on the healthcare reform like you think it's more important to restore bipartiisanship.

I'm frustrated you didn't look out for what was BEST for us Americans. You voted for a job's bill you said yourself you weren't happy with. You are not there for Dems to like accept you. You are the reason America doesn't trust those in office. Please stand by the republicans. We rather them " say NO" and stand up for Americans than to say yes and settle. The government in split and so is America!!!
