I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families. This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I voted for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work.

I was disappointed with the continuation of politics-as-usual in the drafting of this bill, as it was crafted behind closed doors, without transparency and accountability. I hope for improvements in that process going forward. All of us, Republicans and Democrats, have to work together to get our economy back on track. I hope my vote today is a strong step toward restoring bipartisanship in Washington.

Dear Scott,
This is exactly why I voted for you. A smart man that would make the best choices presented to him for the state of Mass. Keep to your guns and always remember this that we the people of Mass. chose you to help us out of this mess. Many thanks for all your efforts.

Lets take a look at this statement/excuse given by Scott Brown a man with the entire countries ear. He says it not perfect and would have liked deeper/broader tax cuts...Could you find a camera Mr. Brown? you are a huge figure at this point and maybe could have taken your case to the American people..Be a Leader! Sen. Brown goes on to say it was crafted behind closed doors and he hopes for improvements going forward. How about NO! Here's an improvement for you and all the other spend America into oblivion politicans..STOP! Doing whatever it is you think will help our economy/country because your obviously don't have a clue and everthing you said you stood for when you ran for office apparenty was BS.

To all you (easily-duped) conservatives who thought Scott Brown was the second coming... How do you feel know?

His very first (fiscally-related) vote, and he lines up with Socialist Bernie Sanders and the rest of tax and spend liberals.

I'm from Michigan and feel the hurt of joblessness everyday. And the same big tax big spend policies of the Democratic Machine have run my state into the ground. And as rough as this vote is...at least we have a Brown Brigade to comment on! I just can't see Levin or Stabenow allowing open posts like this. I visited Levin's office and it was on the 4th floor of a bank building down a dark hall to a thick steel door with a peephole on it. And when I knocked they didn't even invite me in but talked to me in the hall! At least I believe Scott will read these reponses. He has been out in his truck and accessible to his constituents. Can't imagine any Michigan politician doing that. Before we expect the worst, lets take note. Scott was a State Senator surrounded by Dems for years. In order to get things done he has had to work within a system. I have to believe he has gained some wisdom from those years. I feel disappointed as many of you do. But the game isn't over yet.

I REPEAT_ HOW COULD YOU DO IT?????
You are such a traitor to everyone who believed in you. Stop stealing our money and our freedoms.
You want to stimulate jobs, LOWER OUR TAXES. We'll take it from there. IT WORKS EVERY TIME!

this is the way you reward the people that believed in you?!?!?
We thought you were a fiscal conservative because you were against Obamacare. Now the first chance you get, you are willing to spend more of our hard earned money, and increase the debt.

SHAME ON YOU ! But I guess its "Congratulations to Comrade Scott "Marxist" Brown on Voting For Bolshevik Jobs Bill."

And I noticed you are to timid to put up a web site with contact information for the voter to let you know what they think!

HOW COULD YOU DO IT????? We spent all of our spare time at you campaign offices. We made hundreds and thousands of calls for you. We promised people that you did get it. I feel like a liar. We are so disappointed in what you have done. No excuses like being naive and trying to get along. You cannot 'get along' with ploiticians and policies that are DESTROYING our country. SPENDING MORE OF OUR MONEY WILL NOT MAKE ANY REAL JOBS. STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY!
Just stop it NOW!
