I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families. This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I voted for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work.

I was disappointed with the continuation of politics-as-usual in the drafting of this bill, as it was crafted behind closed doors, without transparency and accountability. I hope for improvements in that process going forward. All of us, Republicans and Democrats, have to work together to get our economy back on track. I hope my vote today is a strong step toward restoring bipartisanship in Washington.

I didn't know you had to be a president in order to stick to your beliefs!

Bradman why does it bother you that my purity test is simply telling the truth and sticking to your beliefs?

Its not how I want him to vote its about how he said he would vote. You think im too tough on the guy because I mad that he voted in a way that he said he wouldn't. Its not about him being a conservative its about him being another fake its that simple. Your okay with him parting ways with his campaign speaches im not.

Mr. Brown I am proud that you put the insanity and rantings of a the minority out of your mind and voted for a bill that will benefit the majority. I once considered myself a republican, and watched my party deteriorate into a big government, huge spending disaster. The Patriot Act was shoved through by my party and gave our government powers far exceeding the Constitution. For these so called Tea Partiers to only speak out now speaks volumes about their true feelings about the race and uniqueness of our current president. Funny how if you look at the truth, 95% of Americans are paying less taxes than under the last administration. There is no way to spin that. It is fact. President Obama, despite my disagreements with his policies, has lowered taxes for almost all of us. Mr. Brown I hope you continue to advance an agenda that benefits the majority, do not let the uninformed crazies on the far right fringes taint your votes.

A 3rd party would be handing all the great grabs to the dems - if ppl are determined to go for a 3rd party, pls do not experiment with that on this (2010 midterm) or the 2012 elections!
This - right now - is the WORST timing! We need to get the libs OUT ASAP, and a 3rd party just splits the votes in their favor.
We cannot go there!

If we stand firm in our beliefs and expect better the potential choices for president will be much better than our current situation.

How about using as a Hint as to whether to vote on something...
that if you need to preface an explanation for a vote on a bill, as such:

"I was disappointed with the continuation of politics-as-usual in the drafting of this bill, as it was crafted behind closed doors, without transparency and accountability."

That maybe you shouldn't vote FOR that bill !!!
No transparency? NO VOTE
Simple
What the above quote tells me, is that you really don't know WHAT you voted for
And knowing Obama, etc - it can't be good

Once again Bradman don't ask what your country can do for your state! There was a man from Mass. that said something similar to that but I guess whats best for my state is the new cool.
