I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families. This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I voted for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work.

I was disappointed with the continuation of politics-as-usual in the drafting of this bill, as it was crafted behind closed doors, without transparency and accountability. I hope for improvements in that process going forward. All of us, Republicans and Democrats, have to work together to get our economy back on track. I hope my vote today is a strong step toward restoring bipartisanship in Washington.

You have not done the right thing for the people Mr. Brown. While it is admirable to help people it is not ethical to have voted for the presidents so called jobs bill. This country is broke and do not have the funds for this kind of program which has a masked agenda. You are in your first two votes sounding like all the rest of the "ELITE" within the senate who do not want to stop the reckless spending. You and the rest of the people who voted for this are responsible . The people on the hill are not living in the same world as the "ELITE" in the senate and the house. This makes me even more convinced that the tea party people and glen beck are on the right tract .

A few people commented and said its only 15 billion. I guess its not if you consider that everything out of this administration is in terms of trillions. 15 BILLION is a huge pile of cash. Its pretty sad when we have reached the point that 15 bilolion isn't considered much, while my business is hurting so badly. I get to decide today between putting my last 6 dollars in the gas tank or getting lunch with it. But that's OK you go ahead when the time comes and vote to throw away another 15 billion on top of the 787 billion already wasted. Not to. mention tarp and all the damn bailouts. WHERE IS MY BAILOUT?

I have to say I am terribly disappointed in your vote for this worthless bill which continues the spending of billions to ruin our grandchildren's future. I expected more from you.

Scott, the only way for govt to "create" jobs is for them to get out of the way and let market forces create them! Don't you get it? DON'T TINKER!! When you tinker, you get things like this: what's to stop employers from firing 10 workers, and then replacing them with 10 under this stupid bill at a cheaper cost? Push for across-the-board tax cuts like Reagan did and you'll see job creation.

That's right, Scott. Listen to your constituents here. Think partisan, partisan, partisan, gridlock, myopia, no action, block anything that "might" help, stalemate - because, let's face it, a little progress is much worse than no progress at all. And once the Republicans gain in the mid-terms and re-take the White House, everything will be back in place and we can breathe a little easier. Hyped-up divisive energy, all pent up and nowhere to go. Isn't that what Fox News is teaching us?

How about that Credit Card Reform Great Job Mr. Obama and Congress, My credit card interest went from 9.99 tp 24.99 % and they sent me a letter saying that they could go to 79.9% under the new credit card rules(Ouch) if your credit score is not 700. My 752.00 credit card balance said it would take 12 years to pay off, how exciting, Does anyone know How many years it takes to pay off Mr. Obama's 14 Trillion dollars maybe 150 years. We ought to be proud of ourselves for destroying our kids life and our grandchildren's bet they will Love us for leaving them such a big future.

I donated money to Mr. Brown's campaign because he said he was going to Washington to fight profligate spending. Wow! Did he fool me. To say that I'm dissapointed would be a huge understatement. Can I get a refund of my donation?

REMEMBER when Johnny Damon signed with the Yankees 4 days before Christmas? Remember wondering why you ever bought those expensive Damon baseball shirts for the kids, and how you felt thinking how they would feel opening those once 'wonderful' gifts on Christmas morning?
THIS IS WAY WORSE!
THIS IS OUR MONEY AND OUR FREEDOM YOU ARE "PLAYING" WITH!
You were supposed to STOP Washington from spending our money- NOT HELP THEM DO IT!
REMEMBER, SCOTT, THIS IS THE PEOPLE'S SEAT - IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT, GIVE IT BACK!
