I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families. This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I voted for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work.

I was disappointed with the continuation of politics-as-usual in the drafting of this bill, as it was crafted behind closed doors, without transparency and accountability. I hope for improvements in that process going forward. All of us, Republicans and Democrats, have to work together to get our economy back on track. I hope my vote today is a strong step toward restoring bipartisanship in Washington.

Excuse me, Sir, but as a Californian - who donated to your campaign, and put a Brown for Senate sticker on my car, to the risk of slashed tires or worse ...
I must ask you to seriously consider this:

What do you hold more dear? Being seen as "Bi-partisan" - OR -
Holding to your convictions of W-H-A-T I-S R-I-G-H-T ???
There can be no "bi-partisanship w/ this radical left admin - don't you get this???

They have been "smarming" you since you got there - I have seen it -
these "folk" do NOT think of anyone new in their ranks as anything more than a
potential "useful idiot". I know you are above this. Please prove me right.

Or, were we the "useful idiots" ?

We must give Scott an opportunity to establish his position in the US Senate. I truly believe he knows why we voted for him and what we sent him to Washington to do. Bipartisanship is not necessarily the goal. What we desire is justice and integrity in our public servants overseeing limited and responsible government.Scott was chosen as a man of honor who knows to do what is right, bipartisan or not. It will take more than a single vote to do this. I am confident that we will not be disappointed.

We did not send you to DC so that you could reward bad behavior.
This was crafted in the dark, to keep us in the dark.
Unfortunately, you didn't see the light.

There is still time to rescind, yes???

Remember Bradman family: I support Brown, I donated to brown, I blogged for Brown and I contacted my friends and family and asked them to support Brown and many did. He let us down and now is time for him to make a 180 degree turn or not be reelected.

Bradman family are you serious? "Brown will occasionally take votes he has to so that he can stay in the Senate."
And thats okay with you. You seem to be fine with our politicans playing the game that is Washington politics! Get a spine and stand for something!

no debate from me on that...just see how well FOX ratings are, and I love to tune in. So glad they picked up IMUS on Fox Business News.

Let's just all celebrate at how poorly MSNBC's ratings are. Good God, it hurts to watch them...
Rachael Madcow is just the worst person to watch.....so blatently biased.
