A study in campaign contrasts -- Scott and Martha on the campaign trail

You can really tell a lot about a campaign by the energy and enthusiasm of its supporters. Here's a Patriot Ledger photo taken at yesterday's Bold New Leadership rally in Quincy for Scott Brown:

Now, here's a Boston Globe photo of Martha campaigning yesterday. Can't you just feel the excitement??!!!

GREAT first step to taking our country back! this song says it all about Obamacare but we must go beyond THAT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc_-L4fyLUo&NR=1

We must all stay in touch to keep the momentum moving to TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY. How should we do that because I assume this brigade will peter out soon? My email devinekristi@yahoo.com. Please contact me with TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY in the subject, and if you're from MASS, put that so we can TAKE BACK MASS = )

Hey dude in the flannel shirt, why the long face? I'm also a disappointed Patriots fan and the season ended too soon. But Martha's lies and consistent gaffes must be like rubbing salt in your wound.

I can hold a sign in front of the ward one voting center Monday. Let me know when I should be there and how to score a sign.

Is she at a funeral? Wow, such a lack of enthusiasm. Is that a Scott Brown sign I see on the table? As a 53 year resident of this state I thought we would never see a great candidate like Scott Brown. Please urge your friends to vote. It's critically important for us,our children, and grandchildren. Great Scott!!

Looks like she is sticking to one promise. Not standing out in the cold to shake hands. Looks like she is mastering the sneak attack too!

Too funny! Thanks for posting. Was that big sign provided from a guy in Quincy who promised to hold it on the highway over the bridge from when I met him in the freezing cold on Morrisey Boulavard at the last debate, until Scott won on Jan. 19th?!?! I think so. And on the night I met him, he wasn't going home until the last Coakley supporter (strike) union hack, stopped holding all of Martha's HUGE signs across the street from us. They were paid $50.00 that night, just FYI, and they didn't stay very long.

Since so many people in MA, and I understand, need the extra money, how much do you suppose these poor guys and gals were paid to show up?

I can identify with them. I was a laborer digging ditches with pick and shoved for 5-1/2 years working outside broiling in the sun or freezing in the bitter cold. Then, I was an electrician apprentice for six months changing generator brushes running at 200 amps, because there was an OSHA variance..

I was a Union Steward who came to understand how many in the Union were corrupt. When the Union gets donated furniture from the Company for its Union Office............
