July 4th, 1776. That is the day we declared independence from Britain via the ‘Declaration of Independence’- and the United States of America was born. So, I guess you could call that a birthday. But on this birthday, our great nation will be blowing on candles of liberty, as we take time during this day to honor America’s founding principles, traditions, and government.
