To my fellow Americans: It's just incredible the way Scott Brown is taking IT to Washington. The power of his election and his true leadership is history in the making. "We the People" moment. It's rare to have this kind of excitement during ones lifetime. American history is relatively short. Washington politics today, is no different than Philadelphia politics in 1788. The Capital city namesake George Washington a man by no means so far removed from present culture politic to be considered…

Dear Senator-Elect Scott Brown. I have been waiting patiently since the election to see you seated in the U.S. Senate and wonder why it is taking so long. It is past the so-called ten days and still Kirk is in there and voting. If I remember correctly, according to Massachusetts Law, once you were elected, Kirk could no longer cast a vote, so my question is, why is he still doing so? Don't you think it is time for you to go to Washington and take "the people's seat" away from Kirk? I do! I wish…

My message to Scott would be Vote No on any tax increase that is considered temporary. Like excise tax in Massachusetts was to be a temp tax but to this day we still have it. That tax was created to fund world war II and never went away after the war ended. There are more but none are more misused than that. There are states that don't have this tax. Some states don't have inspection stickers for cars either. In my own town of Dighton It will be voted on in the March elections is The…

our election. However, Sen Elect Brown - I am an independent and did not vote for your election. However, now that you will be representing me in Washington I hope that you will take this opportunity to demonstrate bipartisan leadership and reaffirm your support for clean energy and climate legislation -- a policy you've supported as a state senator.
I would also like to know your view on the most recent Supreme Court decision that opens the floodgates
to corporations to control our…

Dear Senator Elect Brown: I first want to congratulate you on an excellently run campaign. You conducted yourself with grace and aplomb. I am not fooling anyone, I am an ardent Democrat and I have been so since age 21. I am now 61. At first I was demoralized but I am feeling a sense of hope because I sense a decency about you I do not often see in the political arena. You seem to be at least open to help us ALL achieve those things for the American people as a whole and not just for the small…

Why is Citizen Kirk voting in the Senate? More specifically, raising the debt limit to $14.3 trillion and ruining this country? It is an illegal vote and the raising of the debt is illegal and a fraud. This needs to be investigated and all 60 democrat members of the Senate impeached for carrying out this fraud. Ok, I know that last part won't happen but the fact remains the Kirk vote is an illegal vote per Massachusetts law. SEAT BROWN NOW! Stop the tyrannical, oppressive and dictatorial rule…

Its about time a common sense candidate won. Now we need to use common sense to solve the problems we face as a Nation of States. The Individual pursuit of happiness is what makes this country great, the indivdual pursuit of greed has got us to where we are.
We need to recognize that The US Senate has to institute the fundamental changes to our systems of taxation and entitlement, or our country is doomed to fail. We don't need short term fixes we need long term solutions. We need fair…

Friends and Fellow Americans:
On the 27th of January, 2010, the 44th President of the United States delivered his “State of the Union” address to an assembled Congress and invited guests. Here’s the reality of what should have been addressed, as opposed to re-election campaign speech we were given.
Mr. President, Members of the assembled Congress, and honored guests:
President Obama, you made an inspiring opening comment – “One year ago, I took office amid two…

This election is the first time I felt my vote mattered. Take care of the people's seat for us.
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!
A friend sent this along to me. I can't think of a reason to disagree.
I am sending this to virtually everybody on my e-mail list and that includes conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between. Even though we disagree on a number of issues, I count all of you as friends. My friend and neighbor wants to promote a "Congressional Reform…

Thank you very much for all your support. Together we achieved victory. It has been just over one week since the Election and I've been busy working on the transition.
There are so many of you I want to thank and I look forward to representing you in the United States Senate. Every day I hold this office, I will give all that is in me to serve you well and make you proud.
Most of all, I will remember that while the honor is mine, this Senate seat belongs to no one person…

Scott has mentioned he wanted to freeze my pay (federal employee). This seems fair because he saved my health care. However I would suggest he take Paul Ryan's advice and seek funding cuts (look at agencies with bloated budgets like EPA), curb spending and then see what needs to be frozen.

What better way to start the next election than to modify the Brown Bulletin for the US Senate similar to the format used by Reps: Paul Ryan, John Boehner, Michele Bachmann, Marsha Blackburn, Sue Myrick; Senators: Tom Coburn, Bob Corker, Lisa Murkowski, John Cornyn, and John Barrasso. That is, if the staff is willing to take suggestions.

In tonight's State of the Union address, President Obama will declare a new found commitment to "fiscal responsibility" to cover the huge spending and debt he and congressional Democrats have run up in his first year in office. But next Monday, when he submits his actual budget, I fear it will rely on gimmickry, commissions, luke-warm spending "freezes," and paper-tiger controls to create the illusion of budget discipline. Meanwhile, he and the Democratic congressional…

Office of Senator Scott Brown
United States Senate
Washington, DC 20510
Dear Senator Brown,
Congratulations on our victory. As a member of the “Brown Brigade”, I enjoyed being a part of history.
In case you haven’t had the opportunity, I hope you will meet the following members of Congress within a short period of time. I subscribe to their emails and I think they will be a valuable resource for you in DC. In addition I hope your staff…

We are retired citizens and were so fed up with how great the D party is in our state. Scott was like a breath of fresh air for a couple of folks that thought things would never change in our home state. We decided that we would not spend our retirement years in Fla away from our family here. We of course voted for Scott and took off to St. Thomas for a week or RandR. Much needed by my bride of 51 years. I cannot tell you how happy we were that Scott was elected to be our new Senator. I so much…

Just when I and everyone I know were fed up with the one party arrogance of both the state legislature in massachusetts and congress in Washington deciding for themselves what we the people want, here comes a true american to represent us.I know Rome wasn't built in a day,but it began with one brick, then another, then another until a great empire stood. We must now look at Scott Brown as a great foundation, and build upon the fact that we need real people in washington representing us with a common…
