There is a very important race in Massachusetts on January 19th. The U.S. Senate seat that was vacated by the death of Edward Kennedy is up for grabs. A conservative (yes a conservative actually lives in Massachusetts), Scott Brown, is running against a very liberal democrat.
We need to make a big push of donations to help Scott win this election. He is against government run healthcare, cap and trade, illegal immigration, higher taxes, wasteful spending, and many other crazy things that Washington is doing to control our lives.
This one conservative vote in the Senate could stop this madness and make sure that they no longer have a filibuster proof vote. They have 60 votes today for the healthcare bill. One vote less could keep final cloture from happening and this healthcare bill from a final vote. We could stop it! Not only that, but it would send a loud and clear message to our politicians that their job will be on the line too. Can you imagine having a conservative winning in the most liberal state in the country?
It’s time we quit complaining and put our money where our mouths are. Let’s quit complaining and do something! We need to send the politicians a clear and loud voice that we are not going to sit back and take it anymore.
