I am busy spreading the word about Sean. I posted link in chat last night to Sean's site. I feel like i never stopped after Browns election. I then worked really full time at the Richard Ross Hesdwusrter last spring in Wrentham. He ran to replace Scott in the Senate on Beacon Hill. I can't even vote for him but he is a very old friend of mine, outstanding gentleman anf blew away the Dem handily. I went to his swearing in at the State house. Love the simple pageantry and history there. I was in tears. You should have seen the crowds that came out to help Richard...in MAY! They started calling me the Den mother b/c I helped any new volunteers who came in with the phone system and answered policy question that came up. So many people engaged in this election are first time political sctivists. THey want to help but think they may not know enough. I resddured them and then eased them through the tasks. Anyone who had a lot of trouble with it I found something else to do...even down to keeping the snack table full and neat! We can not squander this enthusiasm. It is what will get our country back for us.
I am supporting of course Charlie Baker for Governor and will vote for Perry for US Congress District 10 which is where I live. He was not my choice in the primary but despite that, I am voting for him. It is a numbers game at this point. Most of my work is out of his baker Braintree office. Much closer for me than Scott's was-about 10 minutes from house. I am also helping alocal guy running for Rep on Beason Hill who's opponent is a 6 times eleccted Dem who lies about his votes to his constituentss and ignores them in order to vote party lines. I am doing what I can for others. I know several US seats are in reach and all we need is an inufusion of cash to get their message out. I will go to help out in other districts too as needed (one of the perks of being underemployed!!)
Eunning out of space. Will send and write more Emmy
Is there a rally in Washington this weekend against Obamacare?
Thanks for your note. One of the really striking things about the Brown campaign, including the celebration last Tuesday was how many people from outside MA were involved in Scott's election. This fall's upcoming mid-term elections should really be huge.
Thank you for your help as well!
Take care, Scott

Great comments yesterday--what a great event last night--first time we attended one of these and there were people there from TX and VA (along with 1000's more). Electric--now the fun can really begin for the mid-terms. I had a last minute conversion with 2 friends of mine who were at my home yesterday. They were leaning Coakley, I explained his positions and they managed to get home, were 2 of the last 3 voters in Lexington and both voted for Scott. That puts my voter bomb total to 16. Take care--we can all celebrate this big win--MA: an emerging purple state!!
