- Evelyn, thank you for your kind words. We are just an ordinary "invisible" family, trying each day to do the next right thing and raise our children. Our kids attend public school. I agree that unfortunately the "principles" of American history seem to be less valuable in school now. Consequently, it is more important than ever that our children learn their patriotism from us. We are still a great nation. The spirit of our country is not gone, but it is less visible. We accept that within the natural cycle of a great nation complacency can set in. The passage of time tends to allow us to forget the values that we must continue to stand for. We see this challenge in Massachusetts as an opportunity to engage our family in the lessons of democracy. There comes a moment in time when all great nations must reconnect to the values and principles that form the basis for their citizenship.

I am still learning when and where to vote on things. Where do we go to vote on January 19th to help get Scott Brown elected?

- Well I remember Bush making the comment that the Constitution was "just a damn piece of paper." It has been going down hill since, literally on the hill. :)
The integrity of our Presidents and the administration behind them have diminished in We the People's eyes. Very few of them are listening to us any more. This needs to change. And if we can get Scott Brown in there to keep the Dems from having their way then that is what needs to happen.
