Yes, I also love the campaign's computer system for calling voters. I used it earlier today for about an hour, and it was smooth as silk. Scott's team really has his website (including the phone calling) well-organized. When McCain was running, his team had a lot of trouble getting McCain's website going - and it really hurt his campaign, I think. I was happy to see that Scott's team is savvy about the internet. Scott is smart, and his team is smart also.

hello NY Friends! Thanks for all your interest and support in our Scott Brown Campaign! We think he is great and has a smooth and efficient operation. One of the reasons has been he has truly inspired REAL grassroots folks to become involved and realize that every vote, every phone call, every post makes a difference. He is a common sense guy with integrity, love of country, traditional values and beholden to NO ONE except the voters he serves. I am sure if anyone was interested in coming to the Commonwealth for the final week you would be welcome. (We understand the opponent has Move on, Acorn, and Clinton etc on the way...in fact I believe they have said so.) We don't need to rely on such tactics since we have the real thing.....a candidate with the right priorities ready to work for the good of the Commonwealth and the country.
Try starting a Brigade..."New Yorkers for Brown," post a little write up about the type of help you would like to offer and see what happens.People tend to join the new Brigades quite quickly. Then you just need to continue fairly consistent communication with them. The people on this site are quite politically savvy and understand the ramifications of all elections, as seen this fall and winter in Washington. Of course we know you will be having Gillebrand and Schumer coming up in the future and you are right...our states are not that far away! Plus....you know how to drive in the snow! Another suggestion for involvement is to go to the headquarters or regional offices of this website and phone one directly. Each office has a coordinator named and I would speak with that person. THey may not have all the answers for you, but they will be able to put you in touch with who does. Now I feel the biggest hurdle we must conquer is complacency....to have such positive response to a GOP candidate is so rare and so close to coming to fruition, I just don't want people to get comfortable prior to the election. We must spend this last week working like we are twenty points behind! We are well aware of the "games people play...." Again thanks for your interest and enthusiasm and support. Hope to see some of you here in the next few days in our beautiful snowcovered towns and cities. Emmy

Most of my calls were great too! I did get a few 'undecideds' but no hardcore "Coakley backers!" It took me about 3 caalls before I stopped hanging up my phone when the call ended!!! Such a habit I guess. I put a piece of TAPE over my phone's END button as a reminder!!! LOL!
