To my unenrolled friends. You are the voting block which must think before voting more than any other voting denomination in Massachusetts.  Please encourage others to think before voting as well.  Massachussens have been pretty lazy voters before Scott volunteered to steer the MA representation in the Senate towards the middle.  Before Scott, most in MA registered & voted Democrat.  No thinking involved.  Scott looks at each bill and votes according to what works for us and for America.  He doesn't ask Senate officers what the correct "answer" is -- or what would earn him the highest Liberal rating like our other MA members in Congress currently do.

Thank you Massachusetts. You are ALL true American patriots!!!
Scott Brown wants a sea of red, white and blue ACROSS the internet!
This is what we ALL need to do next.

Please change your profile picture to support Scott Brown

My profile pictures are now "Scott Brown US Senate, January 19" through Jan., 19. You will look smashing in blue as well.

Just right click on my Scott Brown profile above and save picture. Then go to your home page and change your profile. We might need this as a backup if they refuse to seat Scott. We can send the congress and senate to the internet to see what they are facing in November.

I vote for the best person for the job, and Scott Brown is it!
Don't be afraid to speak up. You can't imagine how many DEMOCRATS are voting for Brown. We need to get the word out. Be loud, and vote BROWN.

The way I explain it is that I am a registered "Unenrolled" MA Voter. To people out of the state I explain as I am a regiestered "unenrolled" A.K.A indepedent voter.

I do agree the term Independent is politicize nowadays. I have active politically at the grassroots level for years. Depending how active are, being a enrolled. I think is a smart strategic move. I know what I belive in I think for myself. I usually vote Republican, but will vote other parties if there is a good reason to do so.

Labels labels labels...

I believe there to be good and bad in everything if you look hard enough. I would say it all depends how one presents himself. If you are unenrolled but on a daily basis keep informed and spread the news, and are waiting for all the news to come in to support a candidate at the final vote instead of following the party line, then I am with you there, and I don't imagine many at all would resent neutral political registration.

But if unenrolled is because they aren't involved or informed, then yes there can be some disgust and so intolerance due to the conservatives' life being negatively affected by a disinterested citizen not doing their part to keep our government in line, which I know annoys me often since we have such a historically rare blessing of a country we instead of tyrranical savages are in charge of, and these people not paying attention(yeah, I love them too since I know a bunch of them), and they are throwing away this great gift to the leeches and the looters who are buying dependent support faster than ever, and trying to accellerate still more.

The important question is not what does a conservative think of an unenrolled, the question should be more like how do we succeed at teaching the public to care enough to pay attention and reserve judgement while studying available facts regardless of what any party wants you to do.

Dee,

I would add the phrase "far right-wing" before "conservative". I've cerrtainly expressed intolerance from far right-wing conservatives in the past!!

Hi Paul. I labeled this group "unenrolled" because that is the official label given to us MA Independents by the Ruling Party of the Commonwealth. There are some actual political parties with "Independent" in their name, unfortunately. "Independent" is yet another term which has been hijacked for political reasons. The Press sometimes incorrectly calls an Independent candidate a member of the "Independent Party".
Tolerance of us Independents, in general: From Republicans: YES. From Conservatives: NO.
