Today the National Review Online reports that independent journalist Steve Kornacki wrote today:

"I wrote a column last week in which I dismissed the chances of Republican Scott Brown actually winning next Tuesday's Senate special election in Massachusetts. The race would be close, I figured -- 53-47 for Coakley, or something like that -- but the state's blue tint would be just enough to save the Democrats.

I'd now like to qualify that prediction. Coakley's internal poll last night, I've been told, showed her barely ahead, 46 to 44 percent. The momentum clearly favors Brown, and one very smart Massachusetts Democrat I know told me this morning that "this may be too far gone to recover."

So I was wrong: Brown may actually win.

Most of my calls today mentioned the negative ads and how awful they are. Keep it up, Martha.
Has anyone else received her mailer?

Absolutely. We have to get a constitutionalist elected, and this is our chance! I live in Connecticut but a lot of what Mass. does, CT follows. Eventually we need to turn all of these liberal states into the conservative bastions they once were.

Thank you Sharon for your persistance. Please keep making calls. We know this will be a close race and we were down by 2 points in the last poll. We need to run interferrance on some of the Ugly Ads Coming from SEIU and Coakley. This is a desparate gasp from a dying Machine, smells like smoke and oil to me. Please assure voters that this is just scare tactics.

Please everyone make sure you click the logout button before you hang up. It might help reduce repeat calls.
Cathie, I don't know of any poll but tell us what questions were being asked? Or was it just and up and down for Scott.

Does anyone know of a poll that was conducted last evening? I was called, my husband answered and they specifically asked for me. Obviously Scott Brown received an approve very much!!

Thank you to the person who created this step by step call list!

To encourage wider usage of the CALL FROM HOME program, we have simplified the process by creating an easy-to-understand checklist that side-steps previous trouble spots.

Keep in mind that we are entering the last week before the election. A final, intensive effort is required for Brown’s campaign to be successful. For Patriots who would like to make a financial donation, go to:
www.brownforussenate.com and click on the red "Contribute" button upper right and/or if you'd like a piece of this historic action by making calls, please use the following:

---------------------------------------------------------------------

STEP #1 - OBTAINING AUTHORIZATION TO ACCESS THE CALL PROGRAM

* Go to www.brownforussenate.com

* Click on "Call From Home"

* Disregard the LOG IN box that appears, and click on the "click here" link below the box.

* On the "Make Calls From Home" page that appears, fill in the information requested, and click "Submit".

* A box will appear that says: "Thanks! Your response will now appear in my spreadsheet."
** DO NOT click on the "Create your own form" link below ... it's an irrelevant distraction.

* Realize that it will take ONE HOUR or more after you "Submit" before
you receive authorization to access the "Call From Home" program. It
requires a Scott Brown staffer to review and authorize your request.

* You will eventually receive a "User Name" and a "Password" via the email address you submitted.

STEP# 2 - MAKING CALLS

Once you've received your email authorization,

* click on the Scott Brown website link ... www.brownforussenate.com

* Click on "Call From Home"

* In the "Log In" box, type in your new "Username" and "Password".

* Click the "Log in" red button

* Click "Tutorial" and follow the prompts

* After completing the "Tutorial", click the back button to repeat the
"Tutorial" or click "Begin Calling" if you are ready to start.

KEY POINT - Once you begin calling, DO NOT hang up at the end of a
call. When finished, simply click the "Hang up and Submit" red button
and begin the next call. (If you return the receiver to the cradle, you
will have to repeat the entire accessing process.) Hang up only when
you are finished, or if you want to take a break.

It will probably take a few calls to get comfortable. but beware, it might become addictive!

The video is great!

Tallulah, to shorten the screen you can close the instructions box at the top... After you have called a while you have the instructions memorized!

I agree with you about Jeannine and Keith. I can't (won't) listen to them (or people like them) either. There is no reason for me to put their ugly voices in my brain. I feel the same about the antisemitic websites. I feel like I've been walking through a sewer when I have accidentally stumbled on one of those sites. I have to get up and walk around the room to clear my head.
