Texas, you don't get it, do you? You have the cash or you don't. No governemnt has anything to do with you or your 'health' problems. Anything in the constitution mention you or your copay? No. Anything about insurnce companies? No. Then we're done. Congress is done. You're rich and strong. You win. You're not? Well, America has benefit of a stronger stock with the power and endurance to transcend the threats to life that attend the challenges of life in America. If the insurance company has enough customer to pay their premiums, they win. If not, they and their employees find something else to do - or freeze on sidewalks like the rest of the losers. Scott knows we only need enough govenment to deliver the mail - maybe, Fedex, DHL do it much better without marxist unions; UPS needs to get rid of the union - and defend us from the 1 billion muslims that want us dead. All the other crap? Fling to the curb.

Alexander, Wow, not sure how my comments got confused with marxism. I am way right of center socially and fiscally although I think our country is in so much of a fiscal crisis that we should put all the social issues apart for now. So let's be straight, all Federal Government should begin cut backs immediately. 5-10% per year minimum, and by cut I mean cut, not slow the rate of growth. Second live under a balanced budget. This will force the congress to spend only what is available to them today. Today they borrow from our kids, kick the can down the road and by the time we realize what they have done to our children, the politicos will be long gone and no longer accountable. As to health care you cannot have competition if you let price fixing of premiums, Why has the government granted anti trust exemption to insurance companies? It makes no sense. Let them compete completely across state lines, without protection from sharing information. As to the process we witnessed with the democrats on health care; power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It was criminal to address health care without addressing all of the issues, insurance company protections, pharma protections, legal tort reform protections, giving one state advantage at the expense of others, giving unions special deals, etc. If they are going to deal with reform, nothing should be off the table and all negotiations should be televised. Finally, we have a high deductible plan that essentially insures against catastrophic illness but requires me to pay for regular visits albeit at negotiated insurance rates with providers. What I have found personally is that when I had a copay I never looked at the bills and never evaluated whether the cost of going to the doctor was worth the expense. With some skin in the game I now look at all billing and have found many errors. You have to make people look at the bills, it is the first line of defense on cost control.

Scott needs to get rid of Bambam. Everyone on the internet knows he is Kenyan making us the laughing stock of the world. Bambam couldn't get a job washing windows in any other country. Anyone who failed to vote for McCain needs to be stuffed into a nice cage in Gitmo to think about their crimes.

RRR. I have a very interesting link on the birth certificate subject. I will forward it to you.

Right on, Lori!

Job one is to issue a demand that Bambam produce a real birth certificate or get on the next boat to Kenya. Or Gitmo. I think the case for the latter is much stronger, given Bambam's satanically inspired attacks on America.

There is a lot of enthusiasm on this site which is great. Let's try to keep it real and not burden Senator Brown with right-leaning or left-leaning extremist thoughts. The Senator has enough on his plate and he needs our support. He knows what the issues are and he does not need us burdening him with excess Agendas. That is the Liberal Modus Operandi. He will do great. At least he has a birth certificate!

Texas proud, some of this sounds like marxism. If someone is sick, there is no reason for an insurance company to take them and take a hit on profitability of the policy. Not to mention the shareholders.

And telling industry what to do is outright marxism and against what God wants for America. Like Romneycare. Pure marxism. Pure hatred of God and America. Industry calls the shots in America because God gave them the money.

Total deregulation will deliver cheap health care to anyone. Doctors will be on Craigs List and supermarket bulletinboards selling cures for cancer overnight! America will never be richer or healthier once it gets rid of these insane marxist ideas about telling industry what to do.
