Heh Newton. We can do better than this. Let's hear from Newtonites who believe in fiscally responsible government and understand that this monstrosity of a health care bill is not about health care but about raising taxes and the democrats taking control of health care on their march to socialism. Dingy Harry is reprehensable. He and his band have no shame or scrupples. Wouldn't it be great if MA. had a republican senator before the next cloture vote instead of the Kennedy clone. I know its a lon-shot but I believe it will be a close race especially after the health care dabacle We have to throw all the bums out and what better way to start then MA. (of all places) getting rid of one of its democratic senators less than a month from now. That would reallty shake things up. Can we get a lot of Tea Party support for Scott?

Scott has a great chance to win this seat if he does the following:
1. Have a strong health care message and video posted on healthcare- aligning his position with Paul Ryan (WI), Sen (Dr.) Tom Coburn (OK), and John Boehner (OH). GOP has gotten no credit for their proposals or amendments rejected by Democrats. GOP proposed one amendment which would have made Congress subject to the public option. GOP proposed amendment which would have allowed all Americans access to the same plans as federal employees. GOP proposed amendment which would have excluded illegal immigrants. Of course all were opposed by Democrats. Most of you know this and have knowledge of house bill 3200. If you subscribe to emails from members of the House and Senate as I do you know that people around the country consider this the main issue (not the death penalty). Of course part of the solution is tort reforn which the democrats by their own admission do not want because they don't want to take on the legal lobby. If Scott agrees to tort reform it will help him.
2. Modify the web page in the fashion of those in congress like John Boehner, Tom Coburn, or Michele Bachmann. All have the essential elements for a professional website including signup for emails and comments and contact information. Michele's has the Tab "How can Michele help you?" which is what any sucessfull candidate should be asking his constituents before they ask for money.
3. Scott should promote that while he does not share the same ideas as Kennedy, he is aware he is working for his constuents and will respond promptly to their concerns. Consider this in contrast to Adrian Walker's column in Friday's Metro section about Capuano and his conversation with a constituent.
