HELP! - Need help answering a question for a registered dem on the verge of voting Brown!

The following question is posed by my fiancee who is a HARDCORE Liberal and has been all her life. I've been working on her (as well as volunteering and donating to the campaign) since Scott Brown decided to run for senate and she is on the verge of committing her vote to Scott!!!

Her is the email below, she sent it to [e-mail]. Is there another email that she could send the question to in order to expedite an answer?

Good morning-

I'm a registered Democrat on the fence about who I want to vote for on Tuesday. I work for a non-profit in Boston that does homeless services, so all the people I see are on the edges of society, and in desperate need of the safety net provided by the Commonwealth. What I worry about when I think about voting for Scott Brown is that when he gets to Washington, he will eliminate this safety net, and our families that are already in terrible situations will be even worse off. What can Scott Brown tell me about what he will do to keep that safety net and help families get back on their feet? How will he increase affordable housing stock so families can get out of shelter? How will he help encourage a living wage in the city of Boston?

"....what he will do to keep that safety net and help families get back on their feet?" People get up on, or back on, their feet when thay have achance to go to work. If you were an independent business owner - someone we encounter more than we realize - would you be able to forcast your company's commitments, or price a job, when you have to worry about unnecessary costs, fees and taxes.
On "affordable housing stock" have you looked at the property taxes, and burdens piled upon housing providers. Consider the cost of the bureaucracies that are enforcing them.
"..so families can get out of shelter?.." Shelters, temporary accomodations, are needs that have been in the hands of your local authorities and, sometimes non-governmental organs. Get them to account for them - you'll find someone is making a buck on the misery index.
And as to encouraging " a living wage in the city of Boston" ask Tom Menino. He's been responsible for mis-using Federal Funds (your tax dollars) for many years, always crying for more and not accounting for how imprudently he employed what we've received. Why do Federal Funds sit in CD's to phoney-up a bond rating?
These are not so much senatorial issues, as they are issues the reports on which should be made available by the very allies of Coakley; Menino, the City Council, even the Massachusetts' General Court has more to say about the distribution than a US Senator.
It's very easy to ask senator to account for his or her duties in the US Senate. How do we find agreements are allowed to be made, much akin to treaties, that affect our local economy, when an executive order violates the Constitution - and the Senate could care less.
Let's look at what the duties of a US Senator are, and not get blind-sided by local potentates who thrive on egoes your paying for.
The social conscience is a wonderful virtue to express. But, look where the abuse occurs.

Howdy "On the Fence", I live in Kansas City, Kansas and I do believe that Mr. Scott Brown will do as much as is possible to help out the State of Massachusetts. Reviewing his record, I believe he is for the people - we the people! I am half Mexican and half Serbian and when my husband and myself visit and eat at small Mexican restaurants - it's that President! We know them so I guess they feel they want to vent! "What is wrong"? we ask. "She replies you know we just make a small profit and now we're just making ends meet." The President has raised taxes on many small businesses and we have to let our employees go! We are saddened by that they have been with us for years but we cannot afford to employ them any longer. One of the restaurants is a family owned and operated and they feel sad about laying off valuable employees. They are also saddened for the concern of these laid-off folks who have families to feed. But it is not only the small business owners; it is seniors like us who receive social security and the President has put a "stoppage" on our little annual raise for two years but the health programs costs have increased. The COLA (cost-of-living-allowance), raise, merit increases, etc., have also ceased but the costs of living are on the rise especially the taxes. The President, it appears, believes in a type of financial equality; if it based on what he and his wife receive for all of us it would be fine. However, that is absurd. We are conservatives and we are not rich and do our utmost to help as many people with our budget as possible. Most of our friends are conservatives too; however, we are pictured as greedy, rich and intolerant. It is very distressing to be considered a right-wing radical by liberals. I pray you do not feel that way about us and I wish you many blessings in your up-coming mariage. The Democrats have destroyed already the safety net of Millions of Americans. It is the Democrats who caused the financial crisis ( recession, joblessness ) by refuisng in 2004 Republicans in Congress cal to implement measurs to prevent the sub - prime loan crisis that cause this crisis. Democrat Barney Frank is on tape among others resisting those efforts - they blocked those efforts by voting against and speaking against them. Republicans only had a thin majority then - V. P. Dick Cheney's tie breaker vote , but that was blocked by a non majority vote of Democrats. Bush tried at least 11 times, but the Democrats blocked them.

All they wanted were poor constituents votes , and here we are. Barack Obama worked with ACORN to get those sub -prime loans for his and millions of other their Democrat consituents.

Obama is engaged with dirty deals on Health care - One last Monday in which he held secret ( bamnned C-SPAN from televising them ) meetings with Union leaders and agreed to exempt UNIONS until 2018 fro m the 40 % tax on ' upper income 'cadillac health insurance policies of $ 8,900.00 of individuals, and $ 24, 000 .0policies of families. All of us will be taxed 40 % on them ! Dirty deal after dirty corrupt deal does not allow me time ... see

C. Obamacare / Democrat Congress ( U.S. House and Senate )
so called ' health care reform bills are ruinous and
wrong !

- We will oppose by exposing to the American voter
the leftist Democrat ( Socialist Party of America )
ruinous, Soviet style and European Socialist modeled
Obamacare / Democrat U.S. Senate / House health
care bills.

- Opposing by exposing to the American voter the
Democrat party - An organization built on lies,
corruption, and over - taxation ...

Is this a foundation for a prosperous,
strong America ?

Soviet style so called 'Health care
reform' pushed by Al Franken and his
Democrat party is not health care
reform, but is health care deformed.


WHAT IT WOULD DO:

1) Destruction of the private sector.
( businesses, jobs, and private
health care )

2) Destroy the ability for average Americans,
businesses, and senior citizens to amass
wealth for creation of their nest egg ( for
retirement), costs for education, starting
businesses, and personal income security.

3) Destroy the U.S. economy.


4) Rationing of health care onto ALL Americans.


5) Destroy the quality of current health care.


6) Impose 'end of life' on senior citizens by
government run health care.

7) Putting 1/6 th of the U.S. economy in control
of the U.S. government.

8) Destroy research and development in the U.S.
medical / health care and scientific sectors.

9) Cause the cost of health care premiums to
skyrocket on ALL Americans.


10) Would, according to the Congressional
Budget Office in their Sept. 2009 report,
cause health care costs to dramatically
increase.


11) Would lower the life expectancy of Americans.
Democrat health care reform is based on the European
socialist model - Europe's life expectancy rate is
11% lower than in America; America still has a free
market health care system.


12) Would dramatically increase taxes on ALL Americans,
causing less in Americans paychecks, thus lowering
the standard of living and quality of life for ALL
Americans ...

13) Would destroy private health care.


14) Would give free health care to millions of illegal
aliens at Americans expense.( Is already happening,
but would worsen. )

15) Would cause ( motivate ) millions of more illegal
aliens to cross into the U.S..

Examples of the results of Soviet style socialized,
government controlled 'Health Care' for which the
U.S. Democrat Senate and Democrat House of
Representatives bills are modeled after the European
Socialist model:

1) In Britain, people are pulling their teeth out
with plyers because of the lack of health care
under their own Socialized/ Obama/ Democrat type
health care.

2) In Britain, treatment for breast cancer is delayed
for six months.

Therefore, we will accomplish our rightful and inspired
goal, led by the hand of the Lord himself, through our
rights according to the Declaration of Independence and
Bill of rights as established by the Constitution of the
United States of America; established by inspiration and
of divine design and providence by the creator himself,
which grants the citizen's right to assemble in peaceful,
civil, Tea Party assembly precinct by precinct, town by
town, state by state, our freedom of speech, and diligent
joyful electioneering.
