Fiscially Conservative Not!

What happened? I thought we had a fiscially conservative Brown here? Hubby came home to hold me out on Browns vote = the new Stimulis bill? I already knew that...but let him have his moment. What am…Continue

Watching BROWN like a hawk going forward

We now need to watch Scott Brown and his votes. Especially Health Care. And Spending is out of sight for the now and the future. The very platform for which he ran for office. If Brown meets the…Continue

Scott Brown can win! I like Europe, but I don't want our country to become Europe! This HC bill needs to be defeated, and Scott Brown can make that happen, and so much more.

Trudi...I agree with you....it is a done deal....and for all the reasons you posted and probably more. At this point, Brown is still a youngin and expect he will get educated real soon...then, we will know who he really is. Right on with the Kennedy analysis...we've all been here before. See the writing....God have mercy on our country and its citizens who are humbling themselves to you to guide us and protect us ....Lord, let there be one good man/woman....just one we can count on...at the very least...to lead us.

Yes, 5ML for a Presidential campaign. And....an Orchestrated 5ML for that particular day! Perfect strategy! Admiral, in fact. BROWN got a Million from WE THE PEOPLE at $10-$50 a pop. We can agree that we all want what BROWN ran for, right? We only want to maintain what little freedoms we are holding onto by threads, it seems. Afterall, it was just a silly little midterm election to fill a Democratic seat. A Kennedy seat at that! Big, BIG difference. I sincerely pray that BROWN maintains the personal thoughts of "We the People" that we heard. I pray all the time for his words and their meanings. Obama let not just Demo's down, but this Great Country as a whole. Just a nasty group of socialists with a blank checkbook. We should find a way to reduce the Presidential Power with our checkbooks. The House & Senate as well. We should vote on nearly everything money related, over 500K. Can be accomplished too. Our country was built by the sweat of farmers. I was wrong...dead wrong with Obama. Don't want that ugly pit in my stomach ever again. I pray I am so wrong. BROWN, I pray he is our answer going forward.

As I recall, Ron Paul took in over $6m in one day in the presidential election campaign.

McC is the biggest pain in the Senate, BUT the most Powerful of the Pubs. I too was surprised by Palin's go to the streets for McC. Money is still the deciding factor to SUCCESS just about anywhere now. Even in pre-school for sake. He must have funnel-ed substantial $money$ into both their futures. McC has so much money and power that every time McCain blinks he gets 100K? They WILL take over again. Campaigns RUN/NEED on Big Bucks. Not just 10 bucks here and 20 there. BROWN raised 1Ml in one day? All time record! Let's agree for a moment THAT MCCAIN called BROWN AFTER HE FUNNEL-ED $'S into BROWN'S account for the 2012 run. Let's then agree McCain did this to entice BROWN to campaign for him too. Obama is doing really bad, lied thru his teeth, and STILL does every day, EVERY DAY! STILL. ...BROWN is still innocent, thus far. BROWN has that (John Kennedy) look as well. Females look at a GORGEOUS BROWN vs. Obama (with horrible record), and there is no contest. BROWN wins! It's now BROWN in the WH, and McC really put him there with $'s. At least a billion dollars! BILLION! Sad thing but, why not? As long as BROWN still throws a hissy fit on the floor over the HC BILL OR WHATEVER BILL, we will all live with it. Thee most expensive in History, EVER! Obama wasn't in the senate very long either. Dems saw a younger blackish version of Kennedy, and thought hey, why not? Let's give this a try and get all of the Black vote. I'm not drinking anyones Kool-aid again. Once is enough and I am still sick to my stomach. I need to see with my own eyes "Brown in action" with OUR freedom votes before I EVER leap again.

Teri, I have heard all of what you are sharing & I get your point. However, many folks won't be so willing to quietly let it all play out. McCain is not beloved by many. Heck, we don't know Brown well, either, so I guess we sit back and hope for the best. So far, Brown has portrayed himself as a guy who will march to his own drummer...if so, he'll withstand the critics, and hopefully he won't disappoint! As you have pointed out, it's a done deal.

Brown's friend stated that it was Romney & McCain who were there from the start - that McCain was the one who told him to go for it, that he wd help - when, supposedly no one else would get involved.

I think it is a sign of loyalty. He can taper himself off, but to just turn his back so immediately after winning would be worse, I think, than
showing his appreciation and respect - which is what he is doing.

His vote(s) will still be his... he can choose when to agree & when not to.
Brown seems to be his own man - and knows we are counting on that.

He needn't turn his back completely, or so soon, on the very guy who
physically & emotionally had his back when others would not.

Their tightest bond seems to be national security - they don't need to be attached at the hip in everything.

I respect how he is treating McCain. He has class.

I understand what you are saying, Trudi. In my opinion, no one on the right NEEDS McCain, because he is more of a liability than an asset. It's unfortunate that McC seems to have tapped Brown awhile back...and he controls Sarah by proxy. He's using them both, and I don't think even the worm likes this apple.

Ummm... I am confused again, are you supporting Boxer in California?
Comment by Trudi McDonald on January 23, 2010 at 1:17pm
I feel as you do Americanwoman. But, they will REQUIRE his support to keep going into their personal agenda. Kinda like buying a votes isn't it? Yuck, worm in the apple bite

TIME TO WORRY??? I'm sure you all know that McCain is drawing Senator-elect Brown into his campaign activities...and worse, Brown is going for it. Palin has taken the bait, too (again). Sorry, but in my opinion, McCain is poison to the conservative cause. Being the quintessential politician (or worse), John McCain will happily drag his supporters through the rest of the year, tainting them with his less-than-attractive liberal side. Both Palin and Brown have surprised me...especially since they have just seen (and experienced) what a drag he truly is to pure conservatism. Sometimes, ya just gotta say, "No."
