The day before the election I took part in my first rally at a Coakley event in Framingham. Two things convinced me that Scott would win. First I noticed most of the Coakley signs were very large- the kind that go on buildings not on lawns. Each was held up by 2 supporters. The Brown supporters had smaller and more home made signs. I think we outnumbered them 2 to 1. Also there seemed to be more excitement on our side. They seemed to be going through the motions and it was a chore for them. We were much more energized and having fun! I've enjoyed gloating today but this is just the start and I hope the campaign staff enlists volunteers to assist the branch offices throughout the state. Reaching out to and responding to constituent concerns will be important to retain this seat.

September lol
I really felt it was truly gonna happen when, after the Rasm poll put him far ahead... then, the PPP (was that 2 days prior?). Anyway - those 2 are the only ones - over the course of most things - that end up being closest.

If Rasm had done one more, closer to the elec, I bet they wd've been much closer to the final count, too.

As it was, PPP ( 1 - 2 days prior) ended up being dead on @ 52 - 47 Brown +5, Rasm had him up +9 (Fri prior?).

But, white knuckles and bitten nails still plagued me throughout!

WHAT A THRILL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
