The polls aren't what is going to win the election. The fact is that somepeople rely on the numbers to make their choices. It is very important that we influence any voters that may be on the fence.

Let's keep spreading the word and teaching people about Scott Brown. The more people learn about him, the more I have convinced to vote Brown!

The Worcester Telegram has a poll on who you will vote for. In the last half hour Scot has gained some major ground. Go there and vote, it is half way down on the right side of the home page: http://www.telegram.com/

Not a very scientific poll! haha
No not so much, but it does reach a lot of readers in central MA. It is usually on the top of the front page everyday.
I just voted and I live in NH? No matter what these POLLS may say, Martha just might go down! :) Thanks for posting it. We could easily pump up the numbers, but I don't think we even need to!
Your statement is unfortunately correct when you say "some people rely on the numbers to make their choices". In numerous studies it has been shown that as much as a 5 point margin can be captured by showing your candidate artifically ahead in the polls. It is the psychological phenomenom of "win team" alignment, where any individual relates themselves more readily toward a team that has the perception of winning. Somewhat of an antithesis of the "herd mentality". Polls don't win elections. Votes win elections. But, polls do influence election participants.
Then everyone GO VOTE for Scott. Can't hurt, right? :)
Absolutely.!! In any opportunity to quantify support, do it. Show support and possibly improve the perception of the candidate.
