The rally at Northestern on Huntington was dynamic. At sixty-eight, and after 12 years on the GOP State Committee, I've rarely witnessed such commitment - and that is in people half my age and younger. You are all Dynamic. And your expressed belief left me thinking there are people in this Commonwealth who are self-less.
I noticed John Kerry being ignored as his driver made a U-Turn in the midst of us. We're known to each other and when he caught my eye he almost snapped his neck to look away; Lurch lurched left.
Leaving, and en route tothe "Y" I noticed a table, "Catholics for Coakley". I guess they're the ones she's freed from the "corporal works of mercy". You know, working in emergency rooms. Well, there's an example of her view of church and state. (In the early 1900's there was a sign "Catholics, need not apply". Nice work, Maggie. Why not run a campaign like Heretics for Hitler, See how far you can turn the clock back.) Hey, gang, don't get me wrong - or right - practising, as I may be, I'm also a scrimmaging believer.
I've not yet seen a clip (or spin) of O'Bama's speech. But, why kill the good mood I got from all of you.
So think about this: Coakley can use party thugs to kick the press. She would limit certain people from employment based upon their beliefs - and she would use the name of that belief to do it. She stated there are no terrorists in Afghanistan - just a lot of unemployed luggage loaders crowded into the Kyber.
And interpreting her role as a US Senator, she would represent O'Bama not Massachusetts.
Oh, if that's the case, why are we so worked up?
Because we want a Senator to represent the people of Massachusetts.
I wish Joe Lieberman would come up here.
On the other hand watching the Media Moguls lisp-thinking a nuance? their way through this has been sorta phun.
