Mr. Brown should stay out of McCain's reelection fight in Arizona.  McCain, though extremely honorable with a long service to America, is as much part of the problem in this country as the progressives on the other side of the isle.  We don't need any progressive Republicans in office any more than we need progressive Democrats.

Senator elect Brown would do well to avoid such ties.

Hopefully he will form another "Gang of 14", with the help of Sen. Brown, and create a majority for common sense in the Congress and get this country of square one. George H.W. Bush called it "Voodoo economics" in 1980, it has helped create an historically large National Debt, and Republican official's refusal to be honest about their role in creating that debt and the present deficit cannot be defended. It is still "Voodoo economics" today and as long as the Republican Party defends these Bush tax cuts we will be hearing about the great wisdom of Bill Clinton, and leaving an opening for another Ross Perot.

As Lincoln said 'You cannot fool all of the people all of the time'. We should be glad that Senator McCain is aware of this fact, no matter that others are apparently oblivious, and this should be one of the reasons we encourage Sen. Brown to support him, supposing he needs such encouragement.

Can you assure us that John McCain won't form another "Gang of 14" to work against conservative ideals and initiatives?

We the people would have had 'much larger tax cuts' and the tax cuts would have been made 'permanent' if it hadn't been for the dealings of John McCain. He used the economy as an excuse, when it really seemed like a vendetta against Bush. Then when McCain was running for President, as the economy was said to be 'really tanking', he came out 'for' making 'our smaller tax cuts because of him' permanent. Duh!

THE GANG OF 14 (lest we forget)
Democrats

Robert Byrd (West Virginia)
Daniel Inouye (Hawaii)
Mary Landrieu (Louisiana)
Joseph Lieberman (Connecticut)
Ben Nelson (Nebraska)
Mark Pryor (Arkansas)
Ken Salazar (Colorado)
Republicans
Lincoln Chafee (Rhode Island)
Susan Collins (Maine)
Mike DeWine (Ohio)
Lindsey Graham (South Carolina)
John McCain (Arizona)
John Warner (Virginia)
Olympia Snowe (Maine)

I, like many others, have been able to tell a difference with my taxes going down every April 15th. The CPA said that it was because of the Bush tax cuts. Well, now thanks to John McCain, our taxes will be going back up every April 15th.

Scott Brown,
Can you assure the electorate that YOU won't join one of McCain's gangs should he form one?

For God's sakes look at the stats. Deficits went up during that time because spending went up even faster than the increased revenues THATS RIGHT!!!! REVENUES WENT UP when the tax rates were reduced!!! Problem was both sides gladly worked together to spend even faster. The relationship between taxes and spending is referred to as the Laffer curve and was proven out during the Kennedy Presidency. It does not mean the more you reduce taxes the more the revenue. Too many try to defeat Art Laffer's data by bloviating by saying "Why not just take the tax rates to zero if thats the case." It is standard bellcurve logic. There is a peak balance between tax rates and revenues. Right now we are taxing too much which is / or will effectually reduce revenues. I know it sounds counterintuitive.

Senator Brown, don't loose your support base by getting invoved with John McCain.
You need to distance yourself from him...he is THE PROBLEM if anyone is! You should be supporting
J.D. We know McCain supported you, that's fine, but you are already showing the cronyism
that you were elected to stop. I supported you and Sarah Palin, but I will no more and
I'll send my money directly to J.D. Should you support McCain it will show that you
have completely missed the point of the movement that elected you. If you'll support him
just because he did you, then you'll vote with him just because he does with you, which
is what we are AGAINST! Don't let us down so soon after we worked so hard for you!
Well said West Texas

Yes Brian, well said indeed. When is loyalty to principle going to trump expediancy? Every time both sides "Get along" more freedoms are taken and more debt is incurred. I'll take gridlock any day.

McCain has lost most of Arizona because of the illegals. He won't be getting my vote - it's time for him to retire and take his daughter with him. She's riding the coattails of her father much the same as Browns kids have all jumped on his naked band wagon. I supported and donated to Scott Brown and now I offer my apologies.
Yes sadly the party is over and the hangover begins. The desire to create jobs always admirable. Yet Government does not create private sector jobs (despite the claims some make). Rome is financially burning to the ground and Brown's first vote is to light another match.

hi everyone
i'm tired but i like so many you do for him
McCain and Brown seem like two pees in a pod. McCain sold his votes on immigration reform, Brown sold his first one for stimulus 2. Brothers in arms. McCain will be gone this year and hopefully take his goofy daughter with him. Brown will be gone in two short years and as a junior player should fade into the background. When it;s time for him to go, perhaps he can take his goofy girls as well - All this talk about being just like daddy and posing nude is creepy.
I didn't support McCain for President, but please...you think his opponent is an improvement? I judge a politician by the totality of his work and by that standard McCain has been a great American and a great Republican. He cast some votes you disagree with so you want to get rid of him for a radio announcer who couldn't hold a safe house seat? Hey, the reason the guy is going after McCain's seat is because he needs a job! It's fine to get behind getting rid of McCain, that's your right even though I completely disagree with the sentiment. But I've heard a lot of McCain bashing and I've yet to hear anyone make the case for his opponent other than the fact that he's "that guy who's running against McCain." It's this kind of circular firing squad that Ronald Reagan always opposed when he rebuilt the conservative movement AND built a Repbublican party that had members who didn't agree with him on every issue. If you dont like "progresssives" just see who gets that Senate seat if McCain is defeated (which won't happen).
