Studies have been conducted to demonstrate what will move voters out of their house and into the polling booth to vote. The single most effective tactic is personal contact via phone calling and door knocking. It's direct, personal, and informative.

During the last days of the campaign, we need to wake our voters up and alert them to the fact that there is an election on January 19th.

Question - who are our voters?

Answer - this is what we are doing right now at our phone bank locations across Massachusetts:

Can you help us identify the pro-Brown voters so that we have have MORE voters to "wake-up" in the final days of the election?

The more pro-Brown voters we identify, the more voters we have in our pool of targets for voter mobilization.

Remember the difference between a Special Election and a General Election. Not everyone is equal in terms of voting behavior. A low turnout election (as this will be) only attracts the high-propensity voters (which is a small group). Target these voters as humans are "creatures of habit"... they will be actual voters in this election.

Nothing in the Western part of this State? This is truly unreal.
We should secede from the State! We never seem to count much for anything....except OUR TAX dollar !
Holyoke office should be up really soon.

I am in Waltham and have a couple of lawn signs if you still need them. Just contact me.
How can I get a lawn sighn at my house.
Free signs in Berlin, MA.

I'm out of town but I left 4 signs outside my house if you want to pick one up. The address is
183 Lancaster Rd.
in Berlin, and I left them by the basketball goal. When I get back tomorrow I'll probably have some more.

Kristi:

Please let me know what you find out (about response time). I haven't heard back yet (waiting about two weeks, so far).

I'll still unwaveringly support him; but there may have been one lost opportunity - to contact college republicans before the semester break using both of the following: (1) asking for access to each state's Republican Party's data base; and, (2) by contacting every US college directly.

The scott 4 senate campaign would offer the students an opportunity to gain valuable Republican US Senate candidate campaign experience (to better prepare them for the November 2010 elections). The term of their "internship" would end on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 (prior to their 2nd semester commencing).

They would only need to bring transportatoin, clothing and money for food and gas. The student volunteers would be expected to contact the campaign to make arrangements for their temporary relocation to Massachusetts. The campaign will find a Republican host (or any other host) willing to house them for free the next three - four weeks.

Have you looked up the campaign headquarters closest to you, and contacted them? I would be most thrilled to find out they respond to you immediately. Please advise.
Dear Jake:

Generally, there is no response. It's quite pathetic, even when it comes to wanting something for a newspaper deadline. AS far as colleges, I tried that also, my son being one of the many who could rally votes. I spoke with his school dean who said she would be willing to send something home with the kids before break, but no one got back to me about the effort of going after the college vote. Upon complaining, Brad did say they wanted to steer clear of colleges because they tend to be more liberal, and I would have to say I'm inclined to agree with that, after he pointed it out. My new find is how much the seniors and church groups like Scott. THAT should be a target area.
The database of voters that need to be contacted has already been built - this has a much higher sophisticated analysis than just by area, group, age, etc.... A lot of it has to do with your voting propensity, your voting history etc....

This list is accessibly for you in 1 of two ways.

1) Visit a regional office to make phone calls: http://www.brownforussenate.com/offices

2) Sign up to make calls from home: http://www.volunteer-connect.com/brownma/Login/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl...

3) Email Brad@BrownForUSSenate.com to request a walking list of your neighborhood.

Again, the campaign is contacting specific voters with specific messages so this is a highly coordinated system. If you are involved in at least 1 of the 3 options, you will be in the loop and working towards victory.

Thanks for all that you have been doing thus far to get the word out!
