How Radical Progressives Think

The following is a copy from a blog response I recently posted.  Provided for your review, it may or may not provide value to you.  However, discussion is like a buffet, you can take for your own consideration that which applies, and leave alone that which you find uninteresting.

 

A proven progressive radical tactic. Talk down, demean, denegrate, shout, scream, disrupt, label, and then when all else fails accuse of "Raaaaacism". Creating negative labels on opposing views or contrary matters of opinion is a tactic that they teach, actually teach in classes and books. You can see it most evident when they begin losing an argument on policy, or they are not winning opinion, they will immediately begin to use vulgar, nasty, negative attacks. For an example of this look at how Sarah Palin is demonized in the media. She is viewed as a threat to the progressive female liberal agenda, so they attack her on non policy issues, calling her stupid, unintelligent, negatively attacking her looks, etc. etc. If you want to identify who the Progressives and liberals fear the most all you have to look at is who they are attacking the most. They try to shape opposition by dividing their opponent, labeling those they wish to remove, and then leaving an opponent they feel more comfortable running against. They only want to face the weakest opposition. So they demoralize the strongest to remove them from the equation. Once you understand the Alinsky Rules (their playbook) you really begin to see how easy their tactics are to spot. They follow that playbook page by page every time.

Watch Bill Maher demoralize people, he actually has no quams calling American people stupid. Watch Michelle Obama, she actually has no quams stating "for the first time in my life, I am proud to be an American. Watch Keith Olbermann, he has no quams calling Scott Brown a womanizing, egomaniacal, chauvinistic, hate mongering, pig. When you contrast these progressive attacks with the actual merit of a persons character, you see that it is just an attempt to demonize the opposition because they refute "actual intelligent support" for a person is valid. They see supporters as "missguided", and "unintelligent", claiming that if a supporter actually understood a policy then they would never support their candidate. The progressives keep arguing that anyone who disagrees with them "just does'nt understand" the issue at hand.

 

Progressives will never accept that there could be an alternative position of validity. Progressives claim to have all the knowledge and that everyone else just does'nt understand well enough. Their view of reality is the ONLY view of reality. Progressives stick to this standard at all costs, and "if" a progressive ever conceeds a point to the other side, then their own progressive allies will immediately turn on them and attack them with fervent hostility and anger, demonizing and "eating their own". Progressives hold no value to opposing opinions, "their way is the only way". Any opposition is just uneducated, stupid, and devoid of fact and intelligence. Look at what Obama supporters did to Hillary supporters during the primary election of 2007, 2008 within their own party.

 

Liberal attacks can be so hurtful and hostile that it shocks the system and creates a toxicity. When attacked with these methods regular conservative people just want to escape from the emotional attack and hate speak. They fear being labeled as racist, and begin to doubt themselves. This is the desired outcome from Alinsky fear tactics (read "Rules for Radicals"). When confronted with a losing policy argument the rules teach to just attack harder, be more hateful than your opponent, scream louder, label them more, find or create weakness and never relent.

 

Why do you think that Obama fails, in the face of all mounting fact based evidence, to recognize that the majority of Americans do not want to have health care taken over by government? He is a radical progressive. Within his mind there is no validity to any view from the opposition. There is no concession. There is no willingness to even consider that his point may not be what people want. He just has'nt explained it good enough. We are stupid because we don't agree. We don't agree because he has not done a good enough job explaining it. You see, the problem? This is the illogical mindset of the progressive liberal movement. They will talk you in circles, spin you around, create doubt that the world is actually round. Think Global Warming, no wait, Climate Change..., not wait that's not it either now, it's Man Made Weather. Their logic is irrational on all fronts to average every day people. Yet they claim that it is the only logic. Their logic is the only logic.

 

Look at how the Tea Party is demonized and labeled. The progressive liberals cannot accept that people would have fundamentally different views on things that are in opposition to their own. So, here comes the attack, here comes the labeling, here comes the desire to create a definition of a "movement" that they can attack. Yeah, that's it "lets call em, gun toting, fear mongering, racist, domestic terrorists", yeah, that'll work. Ok. now because they don't have a leader we are going to have to attack any leader, in any party, who they support. So if the Tea Party supports a specific candidate, then the liberal progressives can go to work demonizing a person.  See Palin.

Good post old man. It really is very easy to see their tactic. Once enough people realize it, it will no longer have any effect. I actually find their attacks laughable now. They are so weak and obvious. We just have to keep spreading the word and educating each other.
