A vote for more stimulus? Are you kidding? What a joke!

Sir, you will have a very short career in the Senate!

Brian, you are so right! He is a traitor and it took only 3 weeks to show his true vision of being the "voice of the people". What a shame...
Yes. He has already shown that he is just another pure politician with no values or beliefs. First supporting the old crony John McCain and now supporting more fraudulent stimulus. Too bad because I worked real hard to get him elected and gave him more money than I could afford. I feel very bad for being fooled again. But I won't quit, and next time I'll be working just as hard to kick him out. I hope you all will join me.
I know we are all a little disappointed at first glance but let's take a look at this from a bigger picture perspective. He is going to have to pick and choose his battles very carefully. He is from a very liberal state. This was not a deciding vote. The amount of this bill is small in relative terms. Unless I missed something in this bill there was not much of a restriction on our freedoms and liberties (as opposed to Obozocare). Very rarely does a politician vote the same you would have 100% of the time.
So yes, while I would have liked to have seen a different vote, I am not ready to throw him under the bus. Yet.
Yes, throw him under the bus.
Yes, throw him under the bus now. This very minute.
You can't even see the forest through the trees.
He'll pick and choose his battle like a combat ready National Guard JAG.
Yes, from a very liberal state, he wants to get re-elected with one full term and dupe you all.

Bradman and 1789 Patriot did either of you read your post before clicking submit? You are advocating What Can Your Country Do for Your State! That has been one of the huge problems with Washington. 1789 Patriot you said "The amount of this bill is small in relative terms." So taking our freedoms or bankrupting our country in small steps is okay?...do you have me fooled maybe you were being sarcastic but I fear not. We need to hold our politicans feet to the fire! Bradman goes on the make excuses for Brown saying he must be lonely as if to lend and excuse for his Browns vote. I am begining to see that there is more to Washingtons problems then just the people we send to DC...its many of the voters that send these people to DC. Wake up America stop making excuses for Republicans just because thats your guy or sticking with the same old liberal crap because your a democrat.

I agree with 1789 Patriot. We should be careful with a "litmus test" for anyone. Scott has to represent his state first. Cut the guy some slack. Let time direct any frustration. It has got to be lonely for him against all that opposition. How about we put energy into getting him some supportive collegues to back him up. Keep the bus off him for now. But, a firm grip ready to release the handbrake.
You are all fools.
Can't you see, you have a good senator.
He wants to create jobs.
Don't listen to 1789 Patriot and Bradman. Oh, I forgot, Flynn also.
They do their thinking with their johnsons.
Be open minded. Read all you can about what S.B. has to say.
He advocates for you, all of you.
I'm being sincere.
It's a vote only to debate the jobs bill.
It's a small bill-$15 million; it's for small businesses.
I think you can live with that.
Some are already contemplating, though hesitantly, with thoughts of throwing S.B. under the bus. Even talking about "but, a firm grip ready to release the handbrake."
My previous comments were sarcasm; reflected from the panic some of you had display.
Be patient.
"I was disappointed with the continuation of politics-as-usual in the drafting of this bill, as it was crafted behind closed doors, without transparency and accountability."

Excuse me, Sir, but as a Californian - who donated to your campaign, and put a Brown for Senate sticker on my car, to the risk of slashed tires or worse ...
I must ask you to seriously consider this:

What do you hold more dear? Being seen as "Bi-partisan" - OR -
Holding to your convictions of W-H-A-T I-S R-I-G-H-T ???
There can be no "bi-partisanship" w/ this radical left admin - don't you get this???

They have seen "smarming" you since you got there - I have seen it -
these "folk" do NOT think of anyone new in their ranks as anything more than a
potential "useful idiot". I know you are above this. Please prove me right.

Or, were we the "useful idiots" ?
TOTALY AGREE !
Totally agree with...?
