Beatriz is a young lady from a country we don’t see being talked much about in the US when it comes to immigration. She is originally from Peru but is a recent immigrant from Belgium. With this quite interesting Latin and European background she gives a notion that perhaps she came to America and was able to easily migrate with all her papers all set and “in-line”. Well, the system is not simple at all. In reality Beatriz is an undocumented immigrant today because her time to stay in the US expired but now she that she has adapted to the Nation and feels as it is her own, she has no other home than here.

A young and straightforward young lady, Beatriz displays interest and willingness to learn at all times. As a matter of fact her dream career is one that would require those two to go hand in hand. To be a journalist she will need to keep herself current on events and trends, capability to keep much information in mind as she writes and conveys stories to each one of us.

Her primary dream however, is one that right now is far too distant of a reality: going to college, studying communications and journalism.

She’s quite a normal young lady actually. Nothing “alien” about her. She enjoys playing tennis as her number 1 hobby. Her dreams and aspirations are not farfetched and strange, but quite familiar to many of U.S. citizens who dream of working in the news and media field. To add to her reasons to want to stay and be her dream, is her desire to build a family in the U.S. She sees the value of this nation, appreciates it and would like for her future family to be able to enjoy of the fruits of America, while being the very investors who will later on continuously contribute to their community.
