Every day for the past couple of weeks, there are approximately a dozen people waving Elizabeth Warren signs at the busiest intersection in Westford. It takes place at the Route 110/Boston Rd./Carlisle Rd. intersection at the prime hours of heavy traffic: 5:00 p.m - approx. 6:30 p.m. and on weekend mornings 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (approx.). Dear Senator Brown,
I am concerned about the new unemployment numbers and people perceiving this might be a growth in quality career opportunities for folks. Couldn't this just be a reflection of a seasonal spike in minimum wage retail jobs that will disappear after the holiday gift rush is over? Will people gain health plans with these jobs? Add to their retirement plans or family's college funds with these opportunities?
